Steps to Employment (S2E)
Aimed at a younger core audience (16-24) but with flexibility with older, disadvantaged groups, this program works with those who are assessed as being closer to the labor market. We have developed a short, intensive 4-week Program with the sole purpose of quickly preparing them for work in their chosen sector.
Includes an intensive training employability schedule, barrier remediation and vocational skills training in the chosen sector as well as a negotiated work placement.
The Program is ideal for young people with limited previous work experience or older clients who need support to re-access the labor market. It has been adapted to deliver for specific communities with proven disadvantage in re-accessing the labor-market: Veterans, Long-term disability, Returning Mothers/Fathers, Carers and older adults.
